Concise melodies, sinister vocals and harsh tones as usual - these are just three things one has to expect on the new studio album of Beltez. Hailing from Germanys Rhineland area, the Band intensively explored the topic of death four years ago on their previous record "Tod, Part 1". Now they developed this concept further following Wayne Barlowes novel "God's Demon".
With ,,Exiled, Punished...Rejected" they took up Barlowes atmosphere, which death, intrigues and dying akin to classical literature and ancient Greek mythologies and managed to form it into a musical epic. The result is more skillfull and more intense, yet at the same time, faster and darker as their previous album ,,Tod Part I". This is in no small part due to the collaboration in songwriting, as for the first time in the existence of Beltez a fixed line-up was established, with all members contributing to the music and lyrics.
For ,,Exiled, Punishes...Rejected" the band took their time and artistic freedom to grow and turn a deaf ear to all critical voices out of the black metal scene. The result is a melodic black metal album, reminiscent of elements of death metal as well as of post metal. This makes the five songs a musical statement in a class of its own.
,,Exiled, Punished...Rejected"is an unforgettable voyage in a mysterious world. The ingenious Intro takes the listener by his imagination and leads him into an era of battles long past, between good and evil, and between heaven and hell of a foreign world. M.P.'s vivid screaming rides on at the frontline and is supported by a brachial, yet melodic wall of guitar and bass, which are driven by relentless war drums.
Catchy Keyboards, female Vocals and triggered drums isn't something a normal Black Metal head would hear but in Dzö-Ngas concept these elements work pretty well. An epic album to check out! Beltez

Just an excellent concept EP all around, and being Sinmara there's these signature nuanced elements you hear throughout, and it's glorious. Everything this band has done thus far is brilliant. D.
